120 LED's per metre, 9w, fully dimmable, VHB Backing Tape
Quicker, easier, better.
A revolution in solderless LED strip design - Advantage DB2 has been created with you, the user, in mind. The on-board connectors allow you to connect LED strip without soldering or connection systems. Just strip the connecting cable, twist the wire and push into the on board connector on the LED tape!
Simple power input
The offset LED's mean that the cables don't interfere with the light or, alternatively, you can choose to introduce power anywhere along the length of the strip - it really is that easy.
Efficient maintenance
In the unlikely event of a problem with an installation, then DB2 is easier and quicker to repair. There's no need to remove the whole length, just cut out the affected section, add a new piece in the gap and then reconnect the power using simple wire links. The on board connectors mean it is a few minutes work and there is no need to disturb the rest of the length saving you time and money.
Commercial grade
The basic strengths remain - that is a heavy duty PCB for optimised thermal control and a generous 10m single run length as well as the excellent 3M VHB (very high bond) adhesive tape to provide the complete package. Reliability and long term performance are guaranteed with a lumen maintenance figure of > 96% after 6000 hours of use.
Recommended Cables
The onboard connectors are easiest to use with a solid core cable - it is possible to use a 0.5mm or 0.75mm stranded cable but please ensure the cable ends are well twisted and there are no free strands which might cause a short circuit.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
How do I create a corner using this LED Strip?
It's really easy - just cut the LED Strip at the marked points and then locate both pieces in position - the 2 pieces can butt up next to each other to create a perfect corner.
once in position, then cut some solid cored cable (0.5 or 0.75mm), strip the end and push into the nearest connectors. The cable can be laid on the strip alongside the led's for a neat finish. -
Hi I want to check before cutting the strip to length, there are cutting lines every 50mm but the line I want to cut at to fit inside my profile has 2 soldered blips across it. Is it still OK to cut the tape at this line? Thanks Matt
Hi, yes you can indeed. The soldered joins are suitable for cutting through, just aim for the centre of the join.
