No Spotting LED Tape

ProStrip240 creates no spotting thanks to 240 LEDs per metre. Even in shallow aluminium profiles, this will create a smooth and very bright light output. Like all high power LED strips it is important that it is mounted onto a metal surface, this not suitable for direct mounting onto wood or plastic. 

Commercial Grade

To be able to operate reliably over years, ProStrip240 uses an ultra wide 12mm PCB with a 3oz triple layer copper PCB to properly manage the heat and provide reliable performance. This also allows a long run length of 10m.

ProStrip240 uses VHB (very high bond) adhesive tape to ensure an extremely robust fixing that you can rely on.

  • Is it possible to run 2 strips of prostrip 240 inside the wide round corner aluminium profile and would the profile have enough heatsink capacity to cope with the double rows of LEDs . Im trying to construct a bright lamp to illuminate a drawing board. Look foward to hearing from you

    Hello, it wouldn't be possible to run two rows of this particular LED strip in the ALU16 profile as there's not quite enough space. You could however use ProStrip High Power LED Strip. It's only 6mm wide so you actually fit three rows into the wide corner profile - although I think that would be overkill as it's very bright!

  • would 25mm wide x 3 mm thick Aluminium Angle mounted on wood be suitable as a heat sink for this strip light?

    Hi, I'm afraid not, high-power LED strips like this really need to run at higher voltages in order to maintain usable run lengths. 24V LED strip also doesn't generate as much heat as 12V, so they last longer.
