Can this driver be connected directly to a power supply by removing the adapter?

Yes you can just remove the DC and then wire as usual.

How are the connections made from the strip to the driver. Do they have to be soldered tails that I have to make up myself or can I buy connectors.

This depends on which led strip you are wishing to use, some of our strips need soldering but some can be connected with solderless connectors.

Would like work for powering 1.2m of seamless warm white LED strip?

Yes this power supply would power 1.2m of seamless warm white.

Will this power supply work for a 1.5m strip of dimmable adjustable white led strip

It is just slightly to small, I would recommend the 40w power supply.

Can the output of this power supply be dimmed by a standard wall type dimmer control, if so would the dimmer be on the 240V supply or the 24v output rail. I want to use a manual control of the brightness and not a remote function. I will be installing 2 lighting runs of 1.6mt and 1.2mt
