Media-Wall LED Strip Lighting
Build depth into television joinery and surrounds.
Use light to bring out favourite objects, frame the architecture and change the mood from a bright afternoon to a relaxed evening.

Living and dining spaces often do several jobs at once. A thoughtful LED scheme gives shelves, a media wall or a ceiling detail its own role, with separate control over the light around a screen and the light around the table.
Choose the feature you want to light, then consider its place within the wider scheme.
Build depth into television joinery and surrounds.
Bring books, objects and open shelves into view.
Turn a recess into a considered focal point.
Highlight the rhythm of slats and acoustic panels.
Give drinks displays their own evening mood.
Explore accent lighting near a fireplace, with heat limits checked.
Add a controlled glow behind the television.
Light glass-fronted dining display cabinets.

Shop LED strip lightsPlan the light position, mounting and complete system around the way the room is used.
Start with what you want to see after dark: the texture of a wall, a bookcase, a favourite object or the edge of a ceiling. A single confident light line is often more effective than outlining every piece of joinery.
The strip must work from low, seated sightlines as well as from the doorway. Check reflections in the television, glazed cabinets and windows. Sample the proposed recess and diffuser with your real paint, timber and stone finishes.
Let shelves or coves remain on while stronger features dim down for a film. Decide which runs should share controls, then mark cable routes and accessible driver positions before the joinery closes. Fireplace-adjacent details need a separate heat and clearance assessment.
Choose the lighting effect first, then check the strip, controls and installation together. These swatches explain the choices; they are not photographs of a product’s light output.
A softer white-light mood. Compare a sample with the materials and other lighting in your room.
Explore warm whiteA more neutral white-light appearance. Check the selected product and test it on the surface you want to light.
Explore natural whiteA cooler white-light appearance. Consider how it works with the room’s finishes and existing lights.
Explore cool whiteChange the white-light tone using compatible CCT controls. The available range depends on the selected strip.
Explore adjustable whiteExplore colour as a decorative layer with a compatible strip and controller. Keep practical task lighting in the scheme.
Explore colourWhat about RGBW? RGBW combines colour with a separate white channel. The white tone and control options depend on the product. Compare RGB and RGBW strip options and check the complete system.
Swatches are illustrative, not exact colour temperatures. Screens, surfaces and installation details change how light appears. Colour availability and suitability vary by selected product.

We started out just revamping the living room but lighting was a sticking point and bored of the off the shelf lights. Got in touch with LED space who was local to us and told them our plans. They came back with a plan and components to build the system with full connectivity and controls to allow use of spotlights to integrate into the coving. Kit arrived all soldered and full system. A couple of questions was quickly answered and more cable was purchased along with some modifications to the joints to allow a perfect fit after we had a couple of changes. System up and running and loving it.

Yes, with a considered control plan. You might keep shelves on a fixed white while a separate feature uses RGBW. Check the strip, driver and controller for each group rather than assuming all products work together.
Test the proposed strip location from the main seats with the screen off and on. Conceal bright sources and consider independent dimming for features within the television’s reflected view.
Send a plan and photos of the room, joinery dimensions, the finishes and your seating positions. Mark the desired light lines, available power and the groups you want to control separately.
