Designed for long term reliability and safety, this unit has built in protection against : Open Circuit, Short Circuit, Over Load and Over Heat.These units are not dimmable - if you wish to dim the LED strip then you must place a dimmer on the low voltage side.
The primary/input end is marked with a Live and Neutral terminal to connect to a 200-/240v AC current. The secondary output side has a DC cable.
It is SELV marked and has Class II Protection for protection against electric shock from direct and indirect currents with a fail-safe transformer.
Double insulated and suitable for installation or attachment to furniture with all flammable properties.
This unit is to be fitted by qualified personnel only.
Comes without DC Male Connector Cable.

Hi, the unit I am trying to connect to this doesn't have the DC plug on the end, it has 2 cables. Do you have a transformer without the DC plug?
Hi, although we supply many of our LED power supplies with a DC output cable, it's easy to remove. Make sure it's unplugged, then remove the two screws holding the cap on over the DC output cable side. You'll see it's wired into screw terminals, just loosen the terminals to remove the DC cable and replace with your own. If you are unsure, our team will be happy to assist, just give us a call.

Are these suitable for use in a bathroom ceiling? Also can they be covered with insulation?

This PSU can be hidden in ceiling or the loft bu we advise to have access to that unit just in case you need replacing. We wouldn't recommend covering it with insulation.
