2m ALU24 Stair Nose LED Profile, 47 x 14mm

ALU24 forms a lit stair edge on internal staircases. Its textured silver tread sits over the leading edge, with the LED strip housed beneath it to illuminate the step below.

One 2m aluminium profile channel; One 2m diffuser; 2 end caps (1 left, 1 right).

The nominal cross-section is 47 x 14mm, with a 14.2mm internal channel width. The product gallery contains the dimension drawing.

ALU24 accommodates LED strips up to 14mm wide.

Fix the profile securely along the stair edge with its tread on top and lighting channel beneath the leading edge. A suitable adhesive can be used. For added mechanical security, we recommend drilling and countersinking fixing holes in the profile and securing it with screws suitable for the stair material. Fit the diffuser and finish the ends with the supplied caps.

The diffuser softens the light and reduces glare. The final appearance depends on the LED strip and the depth of the profile.

Yes. The aluminium profile can be cut with a suitable hacksaw or aluminium-cutting blade. LEDSpace also offers a profile-cutting service, priced per cut; add your required lengths in the basket notes.

Yes. The light colour, brightness and controls come from the LED strip you fit and its compatible power and control components. Match the strip and its connections to the profile dimensions.
