Transformer Electrical Connections

There are multiple compliant ways of connecting an LED transformer to the mains

• Directly to a 6A lighting circuit
• Plug fitted with a 3A Fuse
• Fused spur fitted with a 3A fuse

Transformers must be adequately fused and protected. Ensure no copper is exposed, and there is no single insulation showing outside of the body of the transformer.

The output of the transformer can either be connected directly to LED strip, or to a controller using the included output jack cable.

If you do not need the included output jack, simply remove it and discard.

Ensure all connections are tight by giving the cables a tug before reinstalling the covers on the transformer.
