Setting up a HALO smart switch

First-time setup of HALO Smart switches

Prerequisites:

• HALO Smart hub
• HALO Smart switch
• VIVOE Smartphone App

Step 1:

With the switch and hub powered open the Vivoe app on your smatphone. Select the Hub from the list of devices.

Select 'Gateway', then 'add new devices'

Step 2:

Hold down a button on your switch for about 5 seconds. The switch should then appear on the screen, with the name according to what type of switch it is. Press 'Next' to move on .

Step 3:

The app will move on to a screen which shows all the newly connected devices. You can give your switch a user-fiendly name, such as 'living room' by tapping the pencil icon to the right of the name.

Step 4:

Once you have added your switch, you can turn it on/off via the Vivoe app, create automations, and see the status of the switch. On/off will be synchronised between the physical unit and the app.
