3m Warm White LED Strip Pack for On/Off Wall Switch

The pack contains one 3m length of Seamless8 warm white LED strip, a 40W 24V power supply, seven solder-free strip-to-wire connectors, 3m of two-core cable, a UK plug with a 2m lead, and installation instructions. A wall switch and aluminium profile are not included.

This pack produces a fixed 2700K warm white light. It does not change colour or adjust between warm and cool white. Choose an adjustable-white or RGB pack if you need those functions.

This pack is designed for standard on/off control. You can use a switched plug socket, or have the power supply connected to a standard wall switch as part of a suitable installation. The wall switch is not supplied. All strip sections connected to the same switched power supply turn on and off together.

The supplied 40W power supply is non-dimming, so this pack should not be connected to a mains dimmer as supplied. The LED strip can be dimmed with suitable power and control components. Choose a compatible dimming pack or contact us for help specifying the right combination.

No smart controller or remote is included. This is the standard on/off pack. If you want app, remote or voice control, choose a pack designed for that control method or contact us to confirm the additional compatible components you need.

A UK plug with a 2m lead is included for a socket-powered installation. The power supply can also form part of a hardwired installation carried out by a qualified electrician. The LED strip operates at 24V DC and must be powered through the supplied power supply, never connected directly to mains electricity. Assembly and connection are required; follow the installation instructions.

Yes. This version of Seamless8 can be cut anywhere along the strip, so you are not restricted to fixed 50mm cut points. Its continuous copper layer has a protective zinc coating. Disconnect the power before cutting and follow the supplied cutting and connection instructions.

Yes. The 3m strip can be divided into sections, such as three 1m lengths, and powered from the same supply. The supplied cable and seven strip-to-wire connectors let you bridge gaps and connect sections. Separate branches may require additional suitable distribution terminals, which are not included. Plan the cable routes and connector requirements for your layout before cutting.

Cut the strip and bridge the corner or gap using lengths of the supplied two-core cable and the strip-to-wire connectors. This avoids forcing a sharp sideways bend into the LED tape. The pack includes seven strip-to-wire connectors; rigid 90-degree corner connectors are not included.

No soldering is needed when using the supplied connectors with this 8mm strip. The cable pack is designed to make power leads and linking cables using solder-free strip-to-wire connectors. Follow the connector instructions, including the correct polarity. Mains-side installation work should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

You receive 3m of two-core cable for the low-voltage connections and a separate UK plug lead that is 2m long. The low-voltage cable can be cut to suit the layout. If you need more cable, use a suitable compatible two-core cable and have the required length and load checked.

The strip has 3M 300LSE adhesive backing for mounting to a suitable clean, dry surface. Measure and test your layout before removing the protective liner, then fit the strip according to the installation instructions. An aluminium profile can be added if you want a housing for the strip.

Seamless8 uses 480 LEDs per metre to produce a continuous, dot-free line of light without needing a diffuser. An aluminium profile is optional for a housed installation. The strip is 8mm wide; check the profile dimensions and allow space for any connectors. Profiles and diffusers are sold separately.

The strip is rated at 700 lumens per metre, giving a nominal 2,100 lumens over the full 3m length. It produces 2700K warm white light and has a colour rendering index above 90. The light reaching the surface will depend on the installation and any profile or diffuser used.

The strip is rated at a maximum of 9W per metre, so the supplied 3m length has a maximum strip load of 27W. A 40W 24V power supply is included. The 40W figure is the supply capacity, not a statement that the strip continuously uses 40W.

Choose a pack sized for your total strip length or contact us before extending this one. Seamless8 has an 8m maximum run when powered from one end, but that is a strip limit, not the capacity of every pack. The supplied 40W power supply, cable and connectors must all be suitable for the final load and layout; longer runs may also need additional power feeds.

The strip and power supply in this pack are IP20 rated and intended for dry indoor use. They are not waterproof. For outdoor, damp or wet locations, contact us to select a suitably rated complete system for the installation.
