Is the diffuser clip in?
Hi, yes, the diffuser clips in from the front face of the profile
hi if longer runs of more than 2m are required you say but up profile , will the diffuser joint not be visible or will it look seemless ..thx raf
Hi, when the pforiles are butted up, it is a good idea to run the diffuser over the join to disguise it, you would then use a smaller diffuser section in a different location butted up to this one.
Hi, would this system be able to replace spotlights and emit enough light?
Hi, Yes this would work for replaceing spotlights and depending on the strip used can easily match or even surpass the light output of spotlights.
Hi do you have a deep plastered in profile preferably 18-20mm deep by 18-20mm wide thanks
Hi, The Plaster in profile here is the laregst we do in the plaster in range, you could use a recessed profile if you require this to be deeper? deep-recessed-aluminium-profile-channel

Hello, I would recommend the following product for your decking boards https://www.ledspace.co.uk/collections/stair-led-profiles/products/heavy-duty-floor-aluminium-profile-channel-for-led-strip-2m
Please ensure that you use an IP65 rated strip for this project.
Hi, I am looking the run these on a wall and ceiling total of 25 metres, how do you connect them?
Hi, These profiles simply butt up to each other when installing, there is no requirment for a connector piece.

Hi, All of our profiles (with the exception of the internal and external corner plaster in profiles) are 2m in length
What is the best way to fix the profile screws or staples
Hi, You can use either for this, although we would usually suggest screwing, thanks ^Shaun
Can these be installed in bathrooms
No problem at all. Building regulation still require that you use an IP65 LED Strip though.
Make sure that the power supply is located outside the bathroom.
Would these be suitable to run a Philips Hue strip in?
Thank you for your message.
Any LED strip (within reason) will fit in our profiles but essentially it comes down to the width of the LED strip that is going to be installed/used so please double check measurments/dimensions before purchasing! Measure and information should be available on the individual product page.

Yes, this profile comes with a diffuser included.

Hi There Do these have an end cap?
This plaster in profile does not come with end caps.
Do yous have this in 3m lengths?
Our recessed aluminium profile comes in two metres lengths however, they can be cut down or butted up to create longer linear lengths.
Hi I'm looking to put this in a ceiling 2m x 3m sq around a lantern roof do you do corners for this
Hi, I'm afraid we don't stock corner connectors for this LED profile however creating corners is fairly simple. We recommend cutting a mitre using a dropsaw. For best results put the diffuser in place first and cut both together. Hope that helps!
Can you tell me the depth of the channel and external width. Thanks
Hello, we've added a diagram with all the dimensions for this wider plaster profile. The overall depth is 13.8mm and the overall width is 61.5mm.
