Description
Featuring 120 LEDs per metre, it's ideal for use where minimal spotting is required. If mounted in an aluminium profile it produces a fully diffused, smooth appearance and a bright light output.
TradeStrip is popular LED strip light for smaller lighting applications where it's balance of price and performance makes a winning combination but don't think that the low price means low quality - this is made on one of the most advanced production lines in the world featuring a single, continuous, 50m long PCB which is assembled automatically to keeps costs down and increase reliability.
Power Supplies
You will need a 24v Power Supply. A unit with a capacity of 75w will reliably power 7m of Tradestrip whilst a 150w unit will power 15m in total (remember that this will need to be split into 2 sections to avoid problems with voltage drop)
Ideal for use under cabinets and plinths in kitchens, inside wardrobes, garages, bedrooms or any other indoor application.
Easy to cut and use - it can be soldered or use our solder free connectors
This product is fully dimmable with the correct power supply and now has a 5 Year Warranty against failure.

Led strips becoming quite expensive (not talking about "plug and play" cheap stuff), but this is still reasonably priced and look sturdy too. Time will tell how long they will last.

These "just work" with high CRI, low price and easy to fit.
The LED strips (120/m) make for an excellent replacement for the old fluorescent lamps and reduce energy consumption by more than 50 percent whilst allowing for slightly more light output.
From the start Shaun was so helpful! I sent him a drawing of what I was trying to achieve. He came back with the parts I needed for the job and even sent me a sketch of how to connect it all and suggested using a dimmable remote control. The customer is so happy ! Thanks again LED space I have and will be using you on every job with lights in the future!!
I’m a cabinet maker but when it comes to electrics I’m definitely a novice. So when I found LED space and spoke to Shaun I knew i had found the right company . I sent them an email and within a day it was returned answering all my questions and saying yes no problem we can do that . As shown in the picture the top cornice has returns so they soldered and attached wires so the strip could be bent 90 degrees. They even sent me a diagram showing how everything connected. The remote control dimmer was the icing on the cake and the customer loved it . I will definitely be using ledspace.co.uk again.

What IP rating is your 120 24v 3000k led strip? I want to install it in plaster in profile above a shower. Will this be suitable? I noted that other led strips say they are splash proof but I can’t find the 120 24v just 3000k in a splash proof option. Thanks
Hi, The IP rating of this strip is 21, we will soon have a 120 led/m strip ip65 rated on the website, but at present we only have the 60 led/m strips available.

Can I have a 13meter length on one driver
Hi, if this is one complete length, then we wouldnt recommend more tha 5 metres due to voltage drop, however if the 13m is made up of a number of lengths (ie 2 at 4m and one at 5m) then you would achieve this as long as the driver has the right wattage output

Can I control two dimmer units with a single remote control in the same room?
Hi, Yes you can, simply pair the remote to both smart interfaces.

If I have a dimmer unit and remote control and a standard switched supply to the transformer unit, will the dimmer unit remember its previous setting if the power is turned off at the light switch?
Hi, Yes, the Smart interface will revert to the last used setting when power is restored.

If I order a metre of strip does it come with tails connected on the end.
Unfortunately not, you would need to purchase a cable/connector pack, product code LINE8-CP to form a tail or add the service to your order where we do it for you but that is at a cost.

We have recently installed 24 v 14.4 w/m 6A/m 3000k on three shelves in a 2.5 metre shelf unit. The light is much too bright can you suggest which flexible LED ribbon we should use? We would like it a subtle background lighting .
I would recommend adding an interface to your set up and then you can control the brightness via an app or purchase a remote and control with that.

How do I connect 2 sections of the LED strip light please? I want to put a section either side of a hood in a kitchen, and have both sections controlled by the same light switch.

This will come to you as a 3 metre strip unless you request for it to be cut to specific lengths.
