Exhibition-Stand LED Lighting

Make the stand feel like your brand.

Bring focus to displays, counters and architectural edges with lighting planned for the way the stand is built, transported and used.

Exhibition-Stand LED Lighting concept
Lighting concept

Exhibition LED lighting should look considered on the show floor and remain practical behind the scenes. Plan it around the stand modules, merchandise and assembly sequence. Select the light effect first, then coordinate strips, supported housings, controls and power with the stand builder and venue requirements.

Plan the detail

Considered before
the lights go on.

Bring the light position, mounting, location conditions and complete electrical system into one installation brief.

Build the lighting into the modules

Measure lit lengths within each transportable section rather than treating the entire stand as one uninterrupted run. Keep connections accessible and protect components during packing and assembly. Plan a secure housing where people may touch the stand, and avoid exposed leads or lighting details that obstruct access or movement around the display.

Check the effect under exhibition conditions

A stand can look very different under bright venue lighting. Test the chosen strip with the actual graphics, finishes and display objects. Separate brand colour accents from product illumination if the effects need different settings. For backlit graphics, assess enclosure depth and diffusion rather than assuming a strip placed behind the panel will light it evenly.

Prepare a complete show brief

Send the stand drawings, module sizes, individual lit lengths, graphics details and the build schedule. Include the venue power arrangements and any technical requirements supplied by the organiser. A qualified installer should confirm the electrical and overhead installation. Test and label the complete setup before packing so the team knows how the sections reconnect.

Cool white

A cooler white-light appearance. Consider how it works with the room’s finishes and existing lights.

CCT

Adjustable white

Change the white-light tone using compatible CCT controls. The available range depends on the selected strip.

Colour

Explore colour as a decorative layer with a compatible strip and controller. Keep practical task lighting in the scheme.

Explore colour

What about RGBW? RGBW combines colour with a separate white channel. The white tone and control options depend on the product. Compare RGB and RGBW strip options and check the complete system.

Swatches are illustrative, not exact colour temperatures. Screens, surfaces and installation details change how light appears. Colour availability and suitability vary by selected product.

Useful to know

Your questions,
considered.

Can the lighting be dismantled and reused?

A modular design can support reuse, but the strip, housing, connections and packing method must be chosen with repeated handling in mind. Do not assume adhesive-backed strip can be peeled off and refitted repeatedly.

Will the same lighting work at every venue?

Ambient light, power arrangements and venue requirements can vary. Review the next venue information and test whether the display effect and installation remain suitable.

Can I use LED strip behind printed graphics?

Some graphics and enclosure designs may suit strip backlighting. Check the material, depth and diffusion with a sample; other light-source arrangements may be more appropriate.

What should I test before the stand is packed?

Assemble the complete lighting setup with the selected supplies and controls. Check each module, connection and scene, label the parts and document the reassembly sequence for the build team.
