In this video, we move on to the next stage of the installation: connecting your prepared White LED strip (with solderless connector) to the LEDSpace interface (controller). We show you how to properly strip the cable ends and secure them into the controller terminals for operation.
We cover the following details:
- Cable Preparation: Splitting the 2-core cable and stripping the insulation to expose the copper strands. We also cover twisting the wire to ensure a clean insertion.
- Identifying Polarity: Recapping the cable markings from the previous solderless connector video (Dashed line for Positive +, Text/Clear side for Negative -).
- Wiring the Interface:Positive Connection: Inserting the marked (dashed) wire into the + terminal.Negative Connection: Inserting the plain/text wire into the terminal labeled W (White).
- Final Check: Confirming that the interface indicator light is set to White (Single Color mode) to ensure the strip operates correctly.
Technical Tip: Most LED controllers use a "Common Anode" setup. This means the Positive + terminal is the common feed, while the W terminal acts as the negative return for the white channel.
