Bar and restaurant LED accents can tie the room together, from a quiet wash behind seating to a defined line beneath the bar. Plan around seated guests and staff activity. Decorative lighting should complement the lighting needed for service, food preparation and other operational requirements.

Design from the guest viewpoint
Check the proposed strip positions from bar stools, dining chairs and the entrance. Bottle displays, mirrored backs and polished counters can reveal sources that appear hidden at standing height. Use a sample to judge reflections and how the lighting changes the appearance of food, finishes and glassware before committing to the whole room.
Separate atmosphere from service
Create distinct zones for the bar front, backbar, ceiling details and any display joinery. Agree the scenes needed for daytime, evening and cleaning, and confirm compatible dimming equipment. Keep preparation, task and required emergency lighting in the overall project design; an attractive accent does not establish sufficient light for those activities.
Plan for spills and busy operation
Identify cleaning methods, splash exposure, heat sources and places likely to be knocked. Specify suitable components for each location rather than assuming one strip suits the whole venue. Send elevations, lit lengths, zone requirements and power-access details for a quote. Allow maintenance access without unnecessary disruption to service.
Choose the mood
One space. Different ways to light it.
Choose the lighting effect first, then check the strip, controls and installation together. These swatches explain the choices; they are not photographs of a product’s light output.
WW
Warm white
A softer white-light mood. Compare a sample with the materials and other lighting in your room.
What about RGBW? RGBW combines colour with a separate white channel. The white tone and control options depend on the product. Compare RGB and RGBW strip options and check the complete system.
Swatches are illustrative, not exact colour temperatures. Screens, surfaces and installation details change how light appears. Colour availability and suitability vary by selected product.

Seamless8 Warm White | 9W | 24v
A fixed warm-white option for sheltered dry interior coves and decorative joinery.Confirm exposure and compatible dimming; keep task and preparation lighting in the wider plan.
RGB plus a dedicated white channel for a separately controlled bar or feature scene.Needs an aluminium profile, soldered connections, RGBW controls and a suitably sized 24V supply; use only in an appropriate dry location.
A corner-mounted housing to assess for supported backbar shelves and joinery.Check viewing angles and cleaning exposure; the profile does not make an unsuitable strip splashproof.
These are individual strips, not a complete lighting kit or a checked bill of materials. Confirm mounting, power, controls, cables, connections and exposure limits together. Product imagery does not identify the products used in the concepts.
Common design opportunities include concealed counter details, backbar shelving and ceiling coves. Assess each position for sightlines, glass reflections, spills and staff access before selecting components.
Can I change the mood between lunch and evening?
Separate zones and compatible controls can support different scenes. Choose fixed white, adjustable white or colour features intentionally, and confirm the complete dimming and control arrangement.
Can I use these strips near sinks or drinks preparation?
That location needs a specific exposure assessment. Ordinary dry-indoor strip should not be assumed suitable for splashes or cleaning; share the exact position and operating conditions in your brief.
How should I specify several identical booths?
Provide one dimensioned detail plus the quantity and any variations. Include feed locations and whether each booth should share a lighting scene or have separate control.
